Do you ship outside the United States?

Absolutely! Keep in mind, you are still responsible for all import duties, taxes and shipping fees (that includes you too Canada!). If you have a preferred International Shipper other than FedEx or UPS, please let us know and we may be able to accommodate you.

How do you ship in the United States?

We prefer to use the United States Postal Service, FedEx and UPS. The shipper we end up using for your order usually depends on the size and weight of the shipment.

How can I track my package?

You will receive an email confirmation when the package ships including the tracking number(s). If you have not received a tracking number (or don’t give out your email because you think the government is monitoring your every word), please call or write and we’ll get one right out to you. Otherwise click on your shipper to the left and enter your tracking number.

When will my package arrive?

Some time in the near future, or, on average, slightly later than when you ordered it. Just kidding! Provided you order is in stock, we will ship out the very next day. Once you receive the tracking number, your order is officially on it’s way. Times will vary a bit from shipper to shipper depending on distance and time of year, but a good rule of thumb is less than a week for most ground packages within the Continental USA. Actual times can be found on your shipper’s website and can be determined in advance using our zip/postal code as a starting point: 94141-0655. Shipping sizes and weights are listed with each product.

Can I make a return?

Please email us within 30 days of the original purchase date for a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and Mailing instructions before returning. Items must be in brand new, unused, resalable condition, in their original packaging with all parts and RAN included. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs (these will not be refunded on return). Item price (minus shipping) will be refunded to the customer, in the manner it was originally paid, upon receipt of the item. We will be as fair as we can with all returns, but we still reserve the right to accept or deny products for return on a case by case basis. If you try to return worn or used products without telling us, we will send it right back to you.

What if I don’t have a receipt?

If you don’t have your receipt, we will assume you have taken too many hard turns in your MINI and have frazzled your brain to such an extent that you are no longer cognizant of your daily surroundings. If you find we are speaking  v e r y  s l o w l y  to you on the phone, it is simply an attempt to communicate that you don’t need a receipt, just   t e l l  u s  y o u r  n a m e ( if you can still manage that). We keep records of all sales so it shouldn’t be a problem to look up the original purchaser and credit the appropriate amount back.

What is your warranty policy?

Sorry gang, this is where the fine print begins:

Extent of Limited Warranty

URBAN MINI warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year after original purchase. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the retailer where the component was purchased. Original proof of purchase is required.

Local law

This warranty statement gives the customer specific legal rights. The customer may also have other rights which vary from state to state (USA), from province to province (Canada), and from country to country elsewhere in the world.

- To the extent that this warranty statement is inconsistent with the local law, this warranty shall be deemed modified to be consistent with such law, under such local law, certain disclaimers and limitations of this warranty statement may apply to the customer. For example, some states in the United States of America, as well as some governments outside of the United States (including provinces in Canada) may:

a. Preclude the disclaimers and limitations of this warranty statement from limiting the statutory rights of the consumer (e.g. United Kingdom).

b. Otherwise restrict the ability of a manufacturer to enforce such disclaimers or limitations.

Limitations of Liability

To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, In no event shall URBAN MINI or its third party supplies be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

Limitations of Warranty

This warranty does not apply to products that have not been correctly installed and/or adjusted according to the respective URBAN MINI instructions and/or manual. The URBAN MINI instructions and/or manuals can be found online at www.urbanmini.com.

- This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, abuse of the product, noncompliance with manufacturers specifications of usage or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design.

- This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified.

- This warranty does not apply when the serial number or production code has been deliberately altered, defaced or removed.

- This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. URBAN MINI does not consider use in racing and competition to be normal wear and tear. Wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use, failure to service according to URBAN MINI recommendations and/or installation in conditions or applications other than recommended.

- This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts of different manufacturers.

- This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts that are not compatible, suitable and/or authorized by URBAN MINI for use with URBAN MINI products.
